The main concept of the house is a serene home that has been designed to encompass nature at every turn, The core and the main interactive space - the family living acts as the connecting bridge between the private space and the semi-public space.
The owner’s wish for the common spaces to be interactive zones fulfills their need for family time, whilst the private quarters are boldly shielded behind a solid two storey stone wall.
The wall running through the facade instantly elevates expectations for what lies beyond it. The Tri-yard house juxtaposes different moods within its plan, the scale and thereby creating an element of surprise as you enter, and a process of discovery as you move along.
