OXYGEN I

In this project, we created computer graphics for the documentary film "Oxygen," dedicated to the ascent of two climbers, Vitaly Lazo and Anton Pugovkin, on Mount Broad Peak in the summer of 2021.

We recreated the real landscape of the Karakoram mountains in 3D space using Unreal Engine and created realistic models of the fourteen highest mountains in the world.

We created several videos with computer graphics showing different scenes and fragments of climbing in the mountains. Here are some of them.

For one of the scenes in the film, we created a simulation of a real mountaineer rescue system called a polyspan.

We created two highly detailed mountain models around which the narrative of the film is built.
They are Broad Peak and K2.

We also created models of the twelve remaining highest mountains on the planet in low quality.
These are Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Nanga Parbat, Annapurna, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II and Shishapangma.
