The brief was to design a set of posters to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Brazil’s capital – Brasília. In 1955 Brasília did not exist and was built in 5 years! Oscar Niemeyer, a leading architect, designed many of the buildings, all of which display innovative and beautiful architecture.
The inspiration for these posters comes from the paths in Oscar’s architecture. This creates a really elegant style and interesting composition.

The curves that I find in the mountains of my country, in the sinuousness of its rivers, in the waves of the ocean, and on the body of the beloved woman.
