Background:
District Stories is a global city program for the development of culture in all districts of Nizhny Novgorod that covers all its aspects: history, infrastructure, music, nature, heritage, good neighborliness. Basically it involves all the main things that should be developed in the regions.
District Stories constitute extensive work with umbrella design system.

Objectives:
To develop a flexible transformable umbrella design system where both succession and identity of each direction are felt.

Execution:
The concept is based on stickers which are understandable and loved in any district of any city in the world.
The basic combination is a black background and colored stickers of various shapes. Stickers work both as a project identification and as an easily adaptable pattern for different communication forms.
We also developed a color coding to differentiate directions within the extensive project and packs of stickers that reveal the essence of each direction.
With such a set of tools, you can create new communications for each direction ever so long. There is an endless number of combinations.

Районные истории — глобальная городская программа развития культуры во всех районах Нижнего Новгорода и во всех смыслах: история, инфраструктура, музыка, природа, наследие, добрососедство. В общем, все самое основное, что должно качаться в районах.
Районные истории — это работа с объемной зонтичной дизайн-системой.

Задача:
Разработать гибкую трансформируемую зонтичную дизайн-систему, чтобы чувствовалась преемственность, но и прослеживалась своя идентичность у каждого направления.

Решение:
В основу концепта положили стикеры. Стикеры понятны и любимы в любом районе любого города мира.
Базовое сочетание — черный фон и цветные стикеры разных форм. Стикеры работают как идентификация проекта, так и как паттерн, легко адаптируемый под форматы коммуникации.
Еще разработали цветовую кодификацию, чтобы сделать дифференциацию направлений внутри большого проекта и паки стикеров, раскрывающие суть каждого направления.
С таким набором инструментов создавать коммуникации для каждого направления можно на вечность вперед. Нескончаемое количество сочетаний.
