I was tasked with creating an entirely new movie poster for a popular film. We were only allowed to use one icon that is significant to the film and we had to hand-make or draw it. I chose the movie Monsters INC by Disney Pixar Studios and I chose boo's door as my symbol because it's very iconic and recognizable. After making the poster I had to animate each piece of it for a trailer short to emphasize the movie. I created a short that showed the title with descriptions coming in and then the flickering of the door I added later for charm.
