Powell River, 2021

Paddling Trip to Powell River, BC, Canada.
You know I've always been dreaming about travelling and that dream comes true at Pearson where I am able to travel with groups of friends to different places across BC, though not that significantly large scale but enough for my mind to learn and expand, my heart grow and feel the beat of life everywhere I set foot on.
Power River Town was special, because of its history that radiates on every step I took in the Old Town, or the lake we were paddling in, the enthusiastic seniors, or the unforgettable bookstore that I visited and bought 2 books for only 8 dollars. Everything was old and new to me; I felt a bit closer to home, to calmness and also gave me time to process things in life and prepare for the next adventures.
I would also never forget the talk with the Chief of Tla'amin First Nations where the town is located on. I forever appreciated how he sacrificed his time and was willing to share his deepest thoughts and memories with us. Not everyone trusted strangers enough with their stories.
I kept the memories and learnings through the pictures I took. I was blaming myself on taking the BW film in the most colorful and vibrant season of the year. When I got my films, I did not regret a thing anymore.
Cheers to life and more adventures to come.
