Create a packaging collection for specialty desserts of the traditional Chinese Year of the Tiger.

This is a set of specialty desserts packaging specially designed for the traditional Chinese Year of the Tiger. This specialty dessert is a very important pastry in Chinese traditional culture. When the Chinese get married or have a newborn, they usually share this dessert as a gift to share the joy with relatives and friends.  Due to it being a traditional culture, there have different users groups who receive gifts, including the elder and young people. Therefore, in this project, it is necessary to consider the continuation of traditional culture and the acceptance of people of different ages.
Therefore, based on the traditional Chinese Year of the Tiger, we research deeply and redesigned elements such as hats and shoes with tiger-head shapes in traditional Chinese culture. Considering that nowadays young people are worried that traditional Chinese culture is a bit outdated, we redrew these classic traditional elements, let these symbols of national memory glow with new vitality.
The final whole plan not only reflects the characteristics of the Chinese Year of the Tiger, but also adds interest, especially the design meaning the birth ceremony of the Year of the Tiger. In Chinese tradition, there is a custom of giving baby tiger-head shape hats, which means that the eldership hopes the baby will be strong as a little tiger. We integrated the concept of a tiger-head shape hat into the birth ceremony's design. Its outer packaging cover can be removed, and then it can be worn like a traditional tiger-head hat, so that the packaging is not only good-looking, but also more fun. As for the Year of the Tiger doll, we designed a tiger astronaut character in a spacesuit. The whole design spans the preferences of different young people so that people of every age can choose their preferred packaging for the Year of the Tiger.
