Nihilism
Nihilism is a philosophy that rejects generally accepted or fundamental aspects of human existence. It is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated. It is often associated with radical skepticism that condemns existence. A true nihilist would believe in nothing, have no loyalties, and no purpose. This abstract concept uses minimal design with plenty of negative space to emphasize the idea of ‘nothingness’. The black and white represent the binary view of this topic. The cover page features a part of Shakespeare’s line “not to be”, to support the melancholic tones of nihilism.
