The Scottish Crannog Centre

We were tasked with creating new branding for the Scottish Crannog Centre. The Scottish Crannog Centre is a Museum situated on the banks of Loch Tay.
Above is my Final logo. I decided to use a circle as a shape, the circle symbolises community, the client said that bringing the communtity together was a big part of what they want to do. I also used a simple, modern typeface over a iron age one as it was easier to read looking at it now it appears slightly too modern. The centres museum contains pottery in which the creators fingerprints can be seen.
i used these colours in my final design as they are all colours that have been pulled from an image of the Crannog Centre in Loch Tay.
