Visions of Grace
This painting is a personal project Grace has been culminating for a few years. The images in this painting hold meaning, story, and significance in the artist's life and faith. Each image represents a dream, story, or vision from God throughout her life. She felt these experience could only be communicated visually, so she took her paint and her stories to the canvas.

Original Sketch
From the artist: This is an original digital rough draft I created for this project. For each image I used inspiration from Pinterest for each image that captured a different story from my life. I used a big projector to project this image onto the canvas to trace it in pencil and then in paint.
Process
After painting the background with an impasto knife technique, the artist painted each image onto the canvas in gold paint. This was a long and tedious process.
The Finished Product
From the artist: This is the final product of my painting. I added layers of pages from the Bible, different colored tissue paper, watercolor paint, and chalk pastels to fill in the spaces between the images, and it added a lot more character to it. This painting tells a story and is an expression of my personality. It hangs above my bed and reminds me of God's faithfulness to me.
