Interior design for the renovation of an apartment in Turin. The project involved a very particular house belonging to a family of artists who have been working as interior painters for more than three generations. The father of the current owner, a lover of the Baroque and Rococo period, decorated the long entrance corridor and the living room with great detail, making the latter the exact copy of the study of a French nobleman. We find the quote of that very valuable work in the wall left unchanged with the original decoration, in the molded panels, and in the finely decorated ceiling. The current owner, while wishing to keep alive the memory of the family tradition, nevertheless wanted to make the living spaces more in line with contemporary living; the result was a project that sought to blend modern stylistic lines with the important previous decorative heritage.
