Eurostile Poster

Typeface Poster
The aim of the poster was to promote the typeface Eurostile to graphic designers. This meant it had to be sleek, sophisticated and well designed. There were also a number of restrictions that had to be followed which consisted of no images used and only two colours (not including the background).

The design of Eurostile was based on the shapes created by TV sets that were first being released at the time of Eurostile's creation. There is a subtle suggestion of a TV set in the corner of the poster which has been created using the letter "O" with the letters of eurostile creating the TV aerial. The list of names represents other big events that happened in the same year as Eurostile's creation.
