The Paint&Travel project paint-travel.com organized author's tours for artists . The project originated from love of drawing, photography and travel, as well as extensive experience in travel and organizing tours. I did the logo and all the accompanying visual part for this project.
In the spring of 2019, the Paint&Travel team traveled 4,300 km from Moscow to Tashkent by minivan. We have been thinking about traveling in Asia for a long time. Especially about the trip to sunny Uzbekistan - we were attracted by stories about bright colors, delicious food, ceramics, embroidery and Uzbek hospitality. We got some free time and created the opportunity to go on a trip!
Travel itinerary: Moscow - Volgograd - Elista - Astrakhan - Atyrau - Beyneu - Kungrad - Muynak - Nukus - Khiva - Bukhara - Samarkand - Tashkent - Brichmulla - Tashkent.
21 days, 20 citys, 3 borders, 7 people, including 2 children, 2 artists and 1 photographer.
I created the merch of our expedition. The sticker on the car drew attention. And on the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, designed route of the expedition helped us to cross the border without a queue.
We visited the deserts, saw abandoned ships at the bottom of the dry Aral Sea. We visited ancient fortresses in the Khorezm region and the Nukus Museum of avangard Art on the edge of the desert.
We wanted to share our impressions of our travel. Therefore, along the way, we arranged pleinairs, made sketches and fotos. At the final point of our route, in Tashkent, in the Zero Line gallery, there was an exhibition and a lecture about the expedition and our adventures.
