A vibrant identity and graphic design for the opening exhibition of Cinema Museum in Dovzhenko Centre, strongly inspired by the center’s archive, the Cinema magazine, 
and typographic style of the 1920s

The multimedia exposition in Dovzhenko-Centre’s renovated premises 1500 square meters in area presented exhibits from the leading Ukrainian museums and unseen treasures from Dovzhenko-Centre’s collection. 
Rare shots from films, newsreels and animations, unique documents and photosfrom the 1920s. The history of Ukrainian cinema avant-garde has many gaps: a lot of works are permanently lost, and some are only partially preserved.

distribution and historical context
The Cinema magazine was the most contemporary periodical about 
the world of cinema in Ukraine (1925-1933)
Explications were designed as archival excerpts and inspired by the Kino magazine layout
