Dr. Piel is a brand that creates products that deliver clean water to consumers. In order to recreate the feeling of filtering clean water and delivering it to the user, the design was carried out using motif objects. We focused on improving the user experience so that users of the faucet could use the product more conveniently.
The faucet adopted the opening and closing method of a lid that can be found in everyday life, and was designed using the shape of ‘water’ to visualize the usability of the product and the cleanliness that the brand aims for. The cap at the bottom of the product has a corner so that the user can easily disassemble the cap, which helps the user easily replace the filter without using extra force.
Dr. Piel은 깨끗한 물을 소비자에게 전달하는 제품을 만드는 브랜드입니다. 깨끗한 물을 필터링하여 사용자에게 전달하는 느낌을 재현하기 위해서 모티브되는 사물을 대입하여 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 수전을 사용하는 사용자가 보다 더 편리하게 제품을 사용할 수 있도록 사용환경 개선을 목표로 중점을 두었습니다.
수전은 일상속에서 만나볼 수 있는 뚜껑의 개폐 방식을 차용하였고, 제품의 사용성과 브랜드가 지향하는 깨끗함을 시각화 하기 위하여 ‘물’의 형상을 차용하여 디자인하였습니다. 제품 하단의 캡은 사용자가 쉽게 캡을 분해할 수 있도록 모서리가 존재하며, 이를 통하여 사용자가 별도의 힘을 들이지 않고 쉽게 필터를 교체할 수 있도록 도와줍니다.
By adopting the cap opening and closing method commonly used by users, we have made it easy for anyone to use the product. It provides the most intuitive usability while also serving as an identity that reveals the essence of the brand.

사용자가 주로 사용하는 캡의 개폐방식을 차용하여 누구나 쉽게 제품을 사용할 수 있도록 하였습니다. 가장 직관적인 사용성을 주는 동시에 브랜드의 애센스를 드러내는 아이덴티티가 되어줍니다.

In order to reproduce the feeling of filtering clean water and delivering it to the user, we tried to substitute an object as a motif, and borrowed the shape of 'water' to intuitively visualize the cleanliness that the brand aims for.

깨끗한 물을 필터링하여 사용자에게 전달하는 느낌을 재현하기 위해서 모티브되는 사물을 대입하고자 하였고, '물'의 형상을 차용하여 브랜드가 지향하는 깨끗함을 직관적으로 시각화하고자 하였습니다.
