Project background illustration
Welcome to project background. for this project we had to make an illustration about a background. (pretty straight forward)
Practice
For this project we started with a little warm up. We had to take small boxes and such to build a city then take a picture, overline the boxes and draw a place.
Start up
Then finally we started with the project, I started by making a few sketches on possible ideas and concepts.
Mood board
With the ideas down I chose the middle one, as that concept had the most sketched out idea and I could actually picture colored in. so when that was chosen I made a mood board with the general colors I wanted to include in the drawing.
Illustration progress
With the concept chosen I started to redefine the bottom as I later had a different idea on how it can look, I did some basic shading to it to define it better.
I finished the base then added colors, below you see me slowly add color and add a better line art. The final product has a nice paper & craft which I really like.
Reflection
looking back on the project, I really wanted to spend more time on it. for me the final product could've had better quality but sadly this period was harsh on me.
So even with the little time, the product is still something nice to at.
