Univeristy assignment and is the first piece of work I've done in After Effects.
I chose to do the title sequence for one of my favorite movies, The Fall (2006) directed by Tarsem Singh.

Style:
Main inspiration was the work of the marvellous Saul Bass, particularly ones like Anatomy of Murder: simple, silhouette-like graphics, high contrast, no animation within the graphic elements themselves, etc.
However, I aimed to create a modernized version of the style, with elements that have more sophisticated shape and more dynamic in the overall sequence while keeping the movement and animation as simple as possible.

Concept:
The concept for this sequence was achieving the complete opposites from the originlal opening titles of the movie:
- entirely graphic animation [vs. live shots]
- heavy in color [vs. black & white]
- dynamic [vs. slow motion]
- linear progression in the form of introducing characters and two keypoints in the film [vs. "static" single scene action]
