MARIUPOL STANDS
This project was made in honor of the brave Ukrainian defenders in Mariupol who are fighting there even now.
Mariupol - is a city in the southeast of Ukraine. At the moment, this is one of the hottest spots on the entire front. Since 2014, the enemy wanted to break and consume this city. This happening because it is located right near the enemy border. Unfortunately, right now Mariupol is fully surrounded and the city is already a humanitarian disaster...
This artwork was inspired by one of the episodes from Warhammer 40 000 universe - The Defense of Cadia. Cadia is a planet which guarded the only known navigable route to and from the massive Warp rift known as the Eye of Terror(the world of Chaos and demons).
That planet was the first armored point which defended lots of huge enemies waves.
Its defenders have always fought to the last, overcoming themselves and constantly pushing back the enemy. Just like the Ukrainian soldiers, who are currently somewhere out there, remain and fight to the last.
And even if city is destroyed, Mariupol stands!
