ROBOCOP TRIPTICH
Series of paintings, exploring the role of police.
All of the paintings are 120 cm wide, made with oil paintings on canvas.
1. Not all of the Cops are Bastards
This painting shows the way i would like to see the police these days. Helping to prevent crimes with no unnecessary violence. This painting is also about the dialog between generations. Rebel youth and wise and calm senior.
2. Robocop Feels No Pain
With this one i explore the measure of violence police is allowed to use. Is it necessary to hurt someone for words or for insignificant contact? Real justice should react deliberately to serve people.
3. All Cats Are Beautiful
This one is about love and protection. Robocop is my favourite character from childhood. He is a martyr struggling to be a perfect protector of justice. And i wonder does it take to be a robot if you want to become a good cop.
