Before popping the mailer in the post, the newspaper needed extra assets to complete the package and that is where the business cards came in. A luxury finish for a solid first impression.
It's just as effective as a good old firm handshake or a winning smile. There's no fumbling around with a pen to scribble down email addresses on a napkin. With everything being done digitally recently, you still can't beat the old-fashioned paper rectangle. I sought to keep it simple. All of the relevant contact information on one side, and my logo mark on the other.
The business cards are printed on Mohawk Superfine stock with a black seam running through the fabric of the cards. Using a heavy 600gsm paper weight and a 32pt thickness is my effort to up the ante on the flimsy forerunner before it.
