Bykea is the market leader in providing Bike Taxi services in Pakistan with a user base of 5 million+ and a robust network of drivers in major cities of the country.

In order to capitalize and build upon its network of users and drivers, Bykea decided to introduce a referrals program where the users would be able to invite other users to the platform and get rewards in return.

I got the opportunity to design the Referrals experience for Bykea (now live on the Bykea app), after extensive primary and secondary research. This involved reaching out to the users to understand their behavior firsthand, conducting user testing sessions with them and then working closely with a team of developers to bring it to life.

An insight received during the testing sessions with actual users is that the users want to keep track of the users they refer to the platform. Hence a search/tracking interface was included in the Referrals portal. Mobile number is used as the primary identifier for users. 

Users can see all the pertinent details of the user they refer to the platform.
