✨Last week I talked about how an extremely loved ride could be rethemed and brought to the future expansion of Walt Disney Studios here in Paris. (You can check it here!: https://lnkd.in/ebCfXMTj
After all that work, I came up with the idea of a completely new land that could fit into the empty space between Frozen ❄️ and Galaxy’s Edge 🪐.
I think this land will give a lot of narrative coherence to the Walt Disney Studios Park, as nowadays it is a mix of a lot of things.
Think it this way: you enter the Park through a cinema studio (Studio 1 building) and as you explore the park you transition into different adventures that you’re normally able to live only through movies. We keep the original idea of Walt Disney Studios, but we are now actually able to enter those worlds created by cinema and not only see them in flat wood sets but get immersed into actual representations of them. You are now able to become a superhero in the new Avengers Campus, making new friends in the recently renamed Worlds of Pixar, being part of the narratives of George Lucas in Galaxy’s Edge or even joining an adventure of many of our contemporary Disney Characters.
This land could be called Gardens of Adventure and it would be formed by the Frozen new zone, Moana’s Splash Mountain, a Raya and the last dragon ride and a haunted mansion kind of ride but for Encanto the house of the Madrigals.
After this expansion The Walt Disney Studios Park could also be renamed as The Dreams Factory, as cinema is indeed that, a dreams factory and it also recalls us of one of the greatest shows we’ve ever had at Disneyland Paris.
