Delivery Madness

Our CG team Ambition came up with a creative project. We invited 3D, 2D Artists and Motion Designers to create in collaboration an adventure video about a delivery man:
The story was born by the art director Denis Popov and is dedicated to a delivery man on a bicycle. People often have no idea what couriers have to deal with every day at work. We decided to make a video about a courier who, despite the harsh obstacles that arise on his way, delivers the order on time, to the right place, no matter what.

To create a solid story together with a lot of artists, we decided to use the cool trick of challange, launched by the artist Clinton Jones. The courier could deliver an order to astronauts, sailors, traverse deserts, past and future, be in a computer game or movie, and be performed in any style.

We did a quick and easy test of the camera and interactions to test these mechanic:
Next we talked to some real food delivery guys and asked them to take pictures of their bike and bag, and Timofey Malakhov & Alexander Andreev made realistic 3D models:
At the end, we prepared 3D Scene Templates for different software (include models, animations, and camera) for the artists.

All we had to do was collaborate, come up with unique story and send the finished sequences to our editor. It was a great experience and now you can see an example of how the mechanics worked and some still images from the finished pieces:
