The Designer Wage Gap Infographic
The objective of this project was to create an infographic on a passionate topic. I chose to emphasize the issue of wage gaps within the design field. By doing so I created a system of icons that represent the different levels of design career wages using design utensil as they get more and more expensive/involved. I then scale these icons to the percentage of people within the wage range and specified race and gender. I then put two infographics together in one as a comparison to show the wage gaps physically using scale. Each posed with a different question regarding the variety of pay gaps that impact the community.
