Anna stared at them, her heart beating harder still. And then, she stepped out from the front of the crowd. She came face to face with a young soldier, a young man, just a boy, really.
I looked at him closely, and knew I had found the right person; this simple man with a complex job, his face sad but kind, something in the eyes that said I should have never been this border control officer.
There is injustice on all sides, there is fear and frustration, and anger, but we know what ought to be done, what fight must be fought.
