City of Mariupol

Brand identity for Ukraine's multicultural city according to new strategy of urban regeneration, with focus on IT, education, culture and public activity.

We did new brand platform based on city’s the most well-known symbol – anchor, bright colors and elements of greek typography (Mariupol is an ancient Greek commercial settlement, a polis, in which some 20,000 Greeks still live today). I designed new principal visual language of City Council communication with locals, investors, youth and tourists – from advertising campaign to new city wayfinding system. Project was supported by Major and now is being implemented.
