ESAD @ HEIMTEXTIL
(FRANKFURT)
In order to create an exhibition stand for Heimtextil (Frankfurt), ESAD invited me and some creatives from the five big areas (communication, product, interior, fashion and multimedia) to take part of this project.
Whatever was the final result, it should be printed on a digital fabric printer provided by one of the ESAD partners: Mtex.
After some brainstorming, the team of communication design, decided to work together with the fashion design team, and created some merchandise for the exhibition.
The fashion team developed some kind of raincoats and every communication designer developed a few graphics to apply them.
My solution was to explore two different kind of graphic languages: the distorted photography and illustration. Both have great potential to create cool textures and both are perfect to explore the potential of the digital fabric printer.
