The problem of overweight is already relevant for children in the modern world. Eating too much sugary foods can be bad to health, and this is an important thing to discuss. A team of authors - scientists, a writer and me, as illustrator - created this book to tell about metabolism and balanced diet.
The book tells the story about Tim and his friends' adventures in the world of healthy eating and metabolism. The book is written like a Detective story -- friends are chasing the criminal who stole the appetite.
The book was created with the participation of nutritionists. From the book Сhildren can learn such scientific concepts: nutrients and their balance, metabolism, fast and slow carbohydrates, needs and reflexes, synthesis.

One day Tim lost his appetite. He didn't want to eat any vegetables, cutlets, or even his favorite pasta. Where has the appetite gone? Tim and his new friends, Dr. Metabolissio and the dog Avocado, set out on a search in the world of cells and nutrients.
The main characters - Tim, a boy, Metabolissio, a detective, along with their dog Avocado investigate the crimes of Sugar the Sweetie. Vitamingirl and Fatty help them. This is the second book from the book series about the Adventures of Tim in the world of science. The first book in this seria was about Tim's adventures in the world of bacteria.

Tim and his parents came to the Supermarket. Detective Metabolissio gave super-glasses to Tim. He can see series sugar in the composition of products in those glasses. Avocado found evidence - candy wrappers

The illustrations were drawn by me in Adobe Illustrator. I did a lot of options in the process of thinking about the characters in the book. Then discussed with fellow co-authors. My daughter inspired me to create the character Vitamingirl. I drew the spreads of the book without sketches. This is the second book in the Tim Adventures series. Our team is currently working on the third book in the series, this book will be about the brain. I really enjoy working on this series of books.
