Funny story about this toy concept-
My husband, kids, and I are road tripping right now and as we were driving through Texas on our way back to Wisconsin, I was brainstorming ideas for what kind of food I wanted to use. And after a beat, my husband I both exclaimed at the same time, "Kolaches!". 

Where we live in Northern Wisconsin there is a very heavy Czech culture and even if one isn't Czech (we are not), everyone knows and loves Kolaches- a tasty Czech pastry with a fruit jam in the center. 

Anyway, as we continued driving through very desolate and rural Texas towns (we stayed off the freeway to enjoy the scenery) and I sketched my ideas, I lamented how I wanted to make sure I was doing the beautiful folk art and traditional dress on the Granny Timer justice. And just as I said that, I looked up and saw a sign that said "Czech Culture & Heritage Center" just a few miles down the road. 
Ummmm...what?! Talk about manifesting exactly what you need!
We stopped for several hours and toured the indoor and outdoor Czech museum (we were the only people there!), complete with gorgeous traditional Czech dresses (In Czech, called Kroj). I was so inspired and we all got to learn more about a beautiful culture. It was such a cool experience for our entire family!
