MDU Digital Sonomicrometer

Brief
A sonomicrometer is an ultrasonic dimensional gauge, capable of measuring distances with micrometric precision at a rate of  ~1 KHz.
It is used in biomedical research to characterize the dyinamic function of different parts of the body such as the hearth, artheries and muscles.

MDU is a two-channel sonomicrometer specially designed for laboratories with limited budgets.

Characteristics
* It's 100% digital, which means it can be connected directly to a PC without requiring an external Analog to Digital converters (ADCs or NI-DAC modules)
* I has a visual interface to facilitate the alignment process of the piezoelectric crystals, saving valuable time during the experiments.
* Reduced size and weight
* Low power consumption: can run on a portable power supply.
