As with most of my design work, this piece is based on a specific sensation: my personal mythical attraction to the East. I based this print on an intricate Mandala design, which is a ritually symbolic representation of the universe used in Hindu and Buddhist culture. I wanted to create something that captured the essence and wonder of the traditional Mandala, but with my own contemporary twist.
