Pune, the next major city in the vicinity of Mumbai, was fondly known as ‘Cultural Capital’ of Maharashtra. The city, steeped in history and tradition, has undergone a transformation in the last 20 years. While preserving its rich traditional heritage that dates back to the 8th century, the city has accepted new changes with open arms. The cradle of the Peshwas and the Marathas, Pune retains the old world charm, while at the same time being on the forefront in embracing new technologies and assimilating different cultures with equal aplomb. It is renowned as an Oxford of East. So to represent its uniqueness it will be good to create a physical or tangible expression of the city.

Brand Praposal: The project aim was to create a communication experience directed towards portraying Pune as one of the fastest growing city of India. Branding which will help to increase respect, love, affection & sense of belonging of the natives & visitors towards Pune.

Brand Offerings: Brand will offer a range of usable lifestyle products, which will make you more familiar & sensitive about the city. Range of merchandise which tourist or visitors can carry it with themselves as a souvenir.

Why Swa Pune: Over the years ratio of puneits & people residing in Pune is tremendously increased 
from 90:10 percent to almost 50:50 percent. So Pune is not only home for the puneits but also the residing people who come here for business or educational purpose. I have tried to give more humanistic approach to Pune by using Sanskrit word “SWA” which means my, own. To create an emotional bond between city & the people, not only the one who lives here but also who visits the city for various purposes.
