The Board Pin was a part of one of my small classroom projects. I have always felt that a design must be socially useful and simplify problems we face in our daily lives. This is what made me design the Board Pin.

 

In my Board Pin design, I have integrated the design and utility of a U-Pin or paperclip and a display board pin. A display board pin fixes a paper on the board but in doing so makes a hole in the paper which is not aesthetically pleasing. Also with a display board pin only one paper can be pinned using one pin. At the same time a paperclip makes no holes but it cannot be used to pin papers on the board. So, my innovation, the Board Pin is a simple design of a paper clip with a pointed end. By this, you can clip multiple papers in the Board Pin and also pin them on a display board without any holes at all.
