Nonna's Noodles Penne

Nonna's Noodles Penne
This is part of a project given to me in one of my classes where the goal was to create three adverts for a brand of out own making. The brand I created is called Nonna's Noodles: a pasta company that invokes the comforting imagery of an Italian grandma. I touched on this previously in another project where I described myself making the logo for this brand, but here I'll be showing off one of the actual adverts.
After I created the logo, I set out to actually design the packaging for the pasta. I started by drawing up a rough sketch of some potential packaging, keeping an idea in my head that this is intended for a higher quality pasta product. In addition, I decided to add variety to the adverts by making three packages for three completely different pasta types. This advert in particular is for penne.
After sketching the rough draft, I then went about sketching out the layout of the advert it would be used in.
Using the rough draft as a guides, I set about creating the packaging and advert. The package and background were 3d models made in Adobe Dimension, and everything on the packaging from the logo to the pasta windows were separate assets made in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After rendering the scene into a 2d image, it was then taken into Photoshop to be used in the final advert. The various penne used lying on the table were taken straight from the package itself to ensure consistency with the pasta, and additional shadows were added as well.
