New Year's Double 2021-2022

New Year's Double 5K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon 2021-2022
An Active Joe N. Texas Race
The clock theme continues to be popular for this New Year's Eve and New Year's Day set of races, but this time instead of showing individual components we showcased different kinds of clocks! A fun little detail to note on these is that medals for the Eve races are set at one minute to midnight and the medals for the Day races are set to one minute after midnight!

These are the digital files that I provide to the medal makers so they have an idea of how each challenge plate looks once constructed. I also provide them to the client as drafts so they can give me feedback on placement, potential production issues, etc. In this instance the clock medals were meant to sit either on the bookshelf Challenge Plates or "on top of" books on the shelves.

A classic shirt design for the 10 year anniversary of this race.
Because this is a looped course and all races (except for the 5k distance) take place at the same time the various distances need to be distinguishable by course volunteers before the runners are close enough for the bibs to be readable. Blocking out the colors differently each day makes this possible. The blank bib is for last-minute race entries.
