The label also has an antenna that receives the radio swells from the anthology. When the label is within roughly 75 mm of the transmitter, the power contained within the transmitted radio swells is sufficient to induce a small current in the chip contained in the label. This current powers and operates the chip which is “programmed” to shoot a translated unique ID number back to the anthology.

The anthology sends this unique number back to the regulator, which contains a digital decoder, memory, and an IC (integrated circuit).Via the decoder, the unique identification number is uprooted from the signal that the label transfer. The regulator compares the ID number against stored label figures that the director has formerly loaded to the unit. However, and has been authorized to have access to that door at that time, the IC is programmed to shoot an electrical signal to unlock the cinch If the number entered has been stored in the unit. The duration of this signal is programmed by the director. The signal transferred by the control unit operates the electrical door cinch which releases a physical stop on a door lock allowing it to be opened by the label proprietor.

Rather than using a Label, biometric information can be used, this is transferred from the biometric anthology to the regulator in the same way as the Tag ID. This can be a point, handprint, iris recognition, or face recognition.
