The Point Magazine. I was the visual director and an editorial designer for a student-created magazine in La Mirada, CA.
My primary responsibilities as the visual director included: collaboration and conceptualization with the Editor-in-Chief for a 36 page publication, assigning spreads to a team of 4 designers and 4 photographers, creating template and type guidelines in InDesign, reviewing all photography and spreads prior to printing, and being the primary communicator between the printer and his associates.
During my time as visual director, I also led two bi-semester publications highlighting large campus/global topics (Closure of one of the original Biola dorms, Emerson Hall and the Ebola crisis)
