Branding project for the Ugandan/Sudanese non-profit, PEACE International. The founder, Rosemary Khamati tasked me with creating informative booklets for a western audience.
I designed a series of icons with imagery influenced from the school Rosemary founded for South-Sudanese children. Images include: School uniform, crayons, huts, religious affiliation, the Sudan flag, and representations of the mission itself: Education/Reading brings light and new ideas on cultural unity to the people of Sudan.
The logo itself was inspired by the PLETHORA of yellow #2 crayons used by the children and the straw huts of their refugee village. Rosemary is a personal hero of mine, and it was an honor to highlight her work.
