ACCESS WATER
Conference

This conference is a platform to deliver audience the various levels of impact in access to clean water. Around 800 million people on this planet today do not have access to clean water. Clean water not only means serving the need of thirst, but also improving ones life, providing education, restoring dignity and rebuilding a community.

Among the poorer nations in Africa alone, people spend 40 billion hours every year walking for water. Women and children usually bear the burden of water collection, walking miles to the nearest source, which is unprotected and likely contaminated. Time spent walking and resulting diseases keep them from school, work and taking care of their families. Access to clean water in a community means health, income and education especially for women and children.
