Project Specifications: 

To design two posters from a child’s book tale where one would be a monotone poster and the other one utilizing a 2 colour palette. the three colours must work together as a harmonious palette and the use of black is prohibited as well as any type. 

 

Concept: 

Since I was not allowed to communicate the story using type I used the main characteristics of Pinocchio so it would be recognizable. Also since I could not use black I went with a dark green on a lighter green background to create the illusion of a third colour. In one poster you can see Pinocchio as a regular boy and on the second one you see Pinocchio as the wooden doll.
