NEON GENESIS EVANGELION
With Neon Genesis Evangelion, another cyberpunk story of the nineties was given a concept series within a typographic excursion.
Triggered by a few old VHS tapes and DVDs, I set to work to give this story my own graphic garb, which is strongly oriented on the formal language of the original design.
The result is another typographic cyberpunk experiment in the form of typeface and symbolism.
新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」では、90年代のサイバーパンクの物語に、タイポグラフィのエクスカーションによるコンセプトシリーズを提供した。
私は、古いVHSテープやDVDをきっかけに、この物語に自分なりのグラフィック表現を施すことにしました。
その結果、タイプフェイスとシンボルという、もうひとつのタイポグラフィ・サイバーパンクの実験が実現したのです。
