I've been thinking about this one for a while - but had time this week to pull a few ideas together.
I did a Jeep project in my first year at Uni (sometime back in late '92 I guess) - and always felt the idea had more potential than I was able to unlock at the time.
I wanted to do something really basic - bold, simple shapes without much in the way of styling adornment - something you could almost imagine being fabricated and repaired out in the wild.
Stripped back - basic - no pretense.
I'm sure I could go further, and do more to refine it and add detail - but to be honest, I might just leave it like this - a really simple concept study . . it kinda pleases me more to leave it raw.

Fag packet doodle inspired by some cool skateboard wheels I'd spotted online.
The blurred image behind is the final CAD - I wanted to stay true to the sketch volumes and see how it came out.
