Lab 4: Photoshop - Cinemagraph

I felt that busy places really sell the effect of cinemagraphs since there is an intuitive exception for more movement in the image. I also think that a stationary spinning object is perfect for this. I found a video of a spinning Ferris wheel at a packed event.

I began by finding a frame that I liked, pausing, then doing Copy as Merged and pasting in order to create a second layer which is just the frame that I chose. I selected the new layer and created a mask.

I selected the new layer and used the brush tool, with the colour black selected, and drew around the Ferris wheel.
