There are those rare people/persons that have the ability to speak to us and our unique life experiences. Those people that just get you. For me one of those people is Ruby Sales.

Ruby Sales @spirithousedc is a healer, civil rights legend, and spiritual activist.

In her interviews “Where Does It Hurt” and “Spiritual Activism” and others, she speaks on racial justice, history, compassion, taking action, soul honesty, and the need for black joy. This is so affirming for me and also really challenging/provocative.

Deeply grateful for the space for Black flourishing that Ruby creates just by being, + her ability to share kindness/reality with humanity.
