1 km from Anjuna's beachfront a small tenement of families live together in their makeshift camp. Moving from town to town mending the roads throughout India, the men toil away all day as their wives and children launder and cook, awaiting their loved ones return in the evening.
The work is plentiful and relatively well paid in Indian economic terms, yet the price these families pay is to live such a nomadic existence.
