Flock
Do you see patterns in nature? Laws behind movement of ocean waves, or dictating unique shapes of snowflakes. So many things happening around you can be explained, and come down to certain rules. Those pure math equations, brought to conceptual dimensions in software, evolve into their own abstract world, giving impression of some life-like character.
The short video captures a process of implementing small changes to a certain script, which put together one after another build up to an evolution of a movement sequence.
The script itself draws from principles of so called flock behaviour, seen in murmuration of starlings and school of fish.
