My first poster I designed kept typography as the most important aspect of the project. By using the Didot typeface to help establish hierarchy throughout the piece. As well as creating texture instead of keeping the poster flat.
When creating my second poster I was tasked with using Swiss Style to create an asymmetrical poster. When creating this poster I wanted to keep the asymmetrical aspect, but I wanted to also use the elements to create balance.
This is a series of posters created with the elements of graphic design. When creating this poster I would use various design elements to create unique looking designs.
For my second design I wanted to develop my ideas further. I wanted to use the word "graphic" within the design. However I didn't want to use more text within the piece. Instead I chose to create it out of using shapes to add a unique touch.
For my final design I decided to use the designs within the letters as the background instead. This would allow for it to have a false sense of dimension.
For my final poster I was tasked with creating a poster for a Romeo & Juliet play. For this one I wanted to focus on the romance aspect more while still keeping the dark foreboding mood in it.
