The Wendell Berry book contains works from the author and poet Wendell Berry. While curating his work, I focused on images of growing and coming to life or the circle that connects death to life. I decided to use a combination of cream and vellum sheets finding that the contrast between them allowed me to experiment with the meaning of growing as a kind of coming to life as the movement of reading an image or text that comes in and out of focus. I enjoyed the process of designing for user interaction since most pages cannot be read in full unless the user is willing to take part in the effect of placing their hand on the page in an effort to see clearly.
