OPPORTUNITY
Work as a member of a design team, to create the 2013 edition of Anderson University’s annual Ivy Leaves Journal of Literature & Art as well as the branding for the journal.
SOLUTION
The objective was to create a traditional, classic journal that also has a fresh, modern feel. We worked to create a layout that was clean and sophisticated that would showcase the student work. Great care and consideration was taken when creating the typographic palette. In addition to designing the journal, we also created a brand for the journal to be used year after year. The Senior Designer, Emily Weiland, created the logo, while Joy Hiller and I, the Junior Designers, created the typography that makes up the word mark.
