The Eisfabrik is an ice cream factory located in Berlin, in the Berlin-Mitte district on Köpenicker Straße. It is one of the oldest traditional factories in Germany: Its construction by Linde AG dates back to 1896, and its production lasted until 1995. Since then it has been abandoned by its owner, the real estate company Treuhand, who planned to demolish it: in 2010 the two cold stores were already destroyed. The main building is classified as a historical monument. At the beginning of the 21st century, the building was used as a squat.
